Alan Spanos, MD, MA

Alan Spanos, MD, MADR. SPANOS has been specializing in the treatment of difficult chronic pain problems since 1986. He is trained in internal medicine, family practice and anesthesiology, and also has postgraduate training in acupuncture and in clinical hypnosis. As well as practicing medicine, he teaches at hospitals and medical schools nationwide on pain and its treatment. He has a special interest in two particular medical conditions: fibromyalgia syndrome, and chronic fatigue syndrome.
